Or 12 Saturdays only 🙂 and I’m going to be free! I can rest and write!
This job is lot more complicated than I thought at first. I’m on duty about 14 hours a day – 6 & 1/2 days a week.
Someone commented on my post “New job”: “I wish you success on your job”. Thank you Sweetie! But this is not about success – but surviving IT. 🙂
It is a challenge. I have to juggle my time between job obligations, blogging and trying to eat healthy.
Even if the Old Lady don’t need me, I’m too tired to cook for myself. I can only go to my room and keep blogging. 🙂 That’s all what I can do.
Sometimes I cook some vegetables, fry an egg or salmon – but mostly I’m buying only healthy foods that are ready to eat or easy to prepare like: bananas, avocados, blueberries, watermelon, broccoli, potato, tofu, flax seed meal, pumpernickel, gouda cheese, almond butter, raw honey, dark chocolate….
And of course some herbal remedies are helpful: Red Clover, Gotu kola, Kelp, Burdock Root, Dandelion Root… And to stay cool – St. John’s Worth. 🙂 .
As long as I don’t eat any foods what cancer likes – I shall be okay.
I’m drinking lots of filtered water, green tea, ginger tea, and lately Aloe Vera Juice. I have done some research on Aloe and it become my favorite remedy. All the good stuff in one small glass…
But some say that Aloe Vera can be harmful to your health. Oh, well, as long as I’m feeling good, I’m not loosing my hair 🙂 I’m going to keep drinking IT.
Thank you all for inspiration!
God Bless you all.

We have traveled the same path. Fortunately, my first chapters ended about a year ago. I, like you, eat well and try to stay healthy. Blogging has help me as well. Stay strong and keep moving forward. Positive thoughts heading your way!
Cheers

Please continue to eat right! If that is your silver bullet of choice, don’t skimp on it no matter what. Hopefully the days will pass quickly and you can get some much deserved rest. I look forward to reading your next post.
Take as good care of yourself as you can. Hugs and positive energy.
i’m with you on all of the above in reference to diet, though you threw a curve ball to me when i read ‘gouda cheese…’ (gouda cheese? i smiled!) if it’s on the must-eat list, then i’m dashing four hours to the closest market that might have it in stock!
ah, the aloe! fresh aloe grows in my garden, and i love preparing the grape-like filling and dicing it into a glass of lemon water w/stevia leaves. yum yum, it’s all but addicting!
wish i could send you some fresh aloe as well!
you’re doing so well, and i’m very proud of you! z

aloe is good,( except for the pregnant since its an emmenagogue); take care while using st john’s wort though. it has interactions with multiple drugs(read the insert slip coming with the medicines- avoid using it with drugs with a hepatic metabolism/elimination.) with prayers for your health and
regards.
Best of luck… Much blessing, Lor
I just looked at your blog from 6th April 2012 when you turned 65. So I guess your 67th birthday is coming up this weekend and I want to wish you many happy returns! Have a great time on your birthday! 🙂

Happy birthday week!!!
I have an Aloe Vera plant in my hostel. It can work wonders if used properly. Even if it is used improperly it won’t do any harm
Good for you on changing your life and being healthier. Also, thanks for stopping by my blog. 🙂
My friend had colon cancer. She is on an alkaline diet…is that what you are following?
Best of luck, my dear friend.

Hi Anna
Thanks for another follow(s) * (+ likes), as the reason I write is to share.
* (Though my family and close friends say it would be far more entertaining with a video-camera # in “real life”, rather than in cyberspace!)
# By the way, do they still make them in today’s ever-faster changing world..or is it all done with mobile phones?
(get with the times now,”luddite”* c – it should be a smart phone)
* or so I was often called by my “my techno-geek” friend, Bill (“the gonk”)
“total non-techno” c (who doesn’t possess a mobile phone, after a rather eventful’ experience some years back, whilst trying to walk, talk and chew gum at the same time)

Kind regards and all the best with your blog
