My 67-th Birthday.

Happy Birthday to me! I’m 67 years old! But only when I really think about it. Like today…
Otherwise I look and feel much younger. Even now…
Two years ago – when I started my Blog – I told my friend: “My email address is oneanna65…” And she said: ” You should never tell everyone that you are so old!” So I told her: “Why? What’s wrong with being 65 years old?”.
Two days later I told my other friend: “y email address is oneanna65…” And she said: “So you were born in 1965? ” Well, this was a good one! πŸ™‚ !
I think that if you keep busy, you don’t have the time to get old…
I was very busy all my life – trying to find my Destiny. Going places… Doing this and that… Just to find out that I was in the wrong place… doing the wrong thing…
But I have lived very interesting life. No regrets.
Anyway, how could I know – many years ago – that my Destiny was blogging? In English??? πŸ™‚ !
So, maybe because so much was happening in my life, I didn’t have the time to get old?
And every year – at the beginning of April – I do realize how old I am.
And every year I’m surprised. I check my Birth Certificate. I count: Okay, in 1948 I was one year old, in 1949 I was two, and so on…
Than I look in the mirror… No way, there must be something wrong with those numbers… I think…
Anyway, Happy 67-th Birthday to me!
But only today.
Because tomorrow I’m going to be younger! πŸ™‚ !
God Bless you all.

  1. Have a happy birthday and I was told and I know that you are only as old as you feel. I am 68 and there are times I feel a lot younger and then there are days I feel much older. Go figure. Jim πŸ™‚

  2. Happy Birthday to you!! Happy Birthday to Me tomorrow! I’m not into astrology, but can’t deny there is something about the fighting spirit of Aries! The number doesn’t matter at all, but the gift of another year is to be cherished. I wish you many blessings in the coming year.

  3. A very “Happy Birthday!” to you! I’ll be 66 next month and, in my opinion, if you don’t feel your age, why hide how old you are? It might inspire someone! πŸ˜‰ I hope your day is absolutely amazing!!!

  4. Well, Happy Birthday to you β™« I have one coming up in a few days. I dreaded birthdays after the age of 25….until 2011, now I embrace each year I’m blessed with. Enjoy your day!

  5. Hahaha… Happy Birthday Ann, bless your young spirit soul, i thought not many people feel young all the time, people kept remining that I’m not 17 anymore, blaahhh who want to stay 17 all the time?! I’m 21, always! Young enough to forgiven to do mistake and old enough to get drunk with friends πŸ˜›

Happy birthday pretty soul, always young! πŸ™‚

  6. Happy birthday to you. Life is more meaningful when you philosophize about as you do. It is even more meaningful from my Christian perspective when you experience the new Life of the second birth as described in John 3. I recommend that you read the good book as you continue to contemplate life.

  7. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! You’re only as old as you feel! So they say… Hope your birthday was fabulous and I hope you’re taking the whole weekend to celebrate!

  8. Thank you for recently visiting my blog. We have something in common. I will also turn 67 the end of the month and am not ashamed to tell people my age. There is a lot of truth to the saying about ‘growing old gracefully’, and ‘getting better with age’. πŸ™‚ Because, I think we become wiser with life and experience as we age. And, it is what we do with our experiences and wisdom that can make us feel as if we still have something to contribute to this world and to another’s life.

  9. Happy belated birthday, Anna! You sound like a wonderful character and I look forward to reading more about you, though apparently not on you “About” page; there was nothing there. I guess you want us to look around to get to know you? Anyway, thanks for stopping by my blog. I really appreciate it!

  10. Love your blog Anna and thanks for the Like on mine. Happy belated birthday and I have to tell you I’m a lot younger than you are! At least errr … 12 errr … months actually. 1948 in February I arrived. You’re an Aries and I have so many Aries friends. Keep up the good work of staying young. πŸ™‚

  11. Thanks for “liking” my blog. I’ll be 65 next month, so I get it. Your body gives out on you eventually, but your mind, heart, sol will always be young, if you feel young.

  12. Thanks for the like of my post, Anna. And a belated Happy Birthday to you! You are as young as you feel; in your case as young as you sound……youngster! πŸ™‚

  13. Birthdays! Thank goodness they are only once a year. Time would fly by too quickly otherwise. It’s already fast enough to make me dizzy sometimes. Thank you for visiting me at my house (blog) and thank you even more for allowing me to visit yours. I look forward to following your posts.

  14. The numbers don’t sound so appealing after 65, do they? πŸ™‚ But any day that you’re alive to celebrate is a good day, isn’t it! Enjoy staying young, Anna. πŸ™‚ Happy weekend!

  15. Hi Anna! Happy 65th Birthday! You have such a great attitude, I feel the same way. It’s just a number, right? I feel sorry for the people who freak out over every birthday that comes around. I hope that they can see the benefit of not worrying over their age!
I want to thank you for visiting my blog. I recently made a tutorial & posted it on my blog ~ It’s Free! Please stop by & check it out!
    Thanks again,

  16. My wife and I are both sixty eight. She is three months older than me. She robbed me from the cradle. Now the rub, we were both born at Brooklyn Jewish Hospital. We probably were held by the same nurses, in the same birth room, the same floor, etc.
We were meant for each other, Karma.

  17. I always say life is about “stage” not “age”, depending which space we are in at any moment in time, (and not just linear time), therefore we can technically be any “age” and “stage” within any given linear or Universal time space. Life is good!

  18. Happy Birthday and what country are you from? You know it already , your as young as you feel !

    Keep well
    and keep blogging!

  19. Congratulations on the marathon of birthday’s and may you have many more years to blog. πŸ™‚

  20. Much belated happy birthday! (You can keep it for next year maybe!) I’m nearing my 63rd soon but unlike you am new to blogging. I’ve been a teacher and worked a lot with teenagers most of my life so that’s kept me young! Thanks for your like, I enjoyed your blog also.

  21. Thanks for liking my blog. I like yours too. I started blogging a couple of years ago. I’m 80, most days feel like 60, some days like 90! Have a great day.

  22. Hi Oneanna,
thanks for liking our Shakespeare on Cats post. We haven’t been blogging for long but one thing we have learned is the word “cats” in a title brings ’em in. From now on all our posts are going to have “cats” in the title. So happy CATS birthday to you.

  27. Thanks for visiting my There’s Something Wrong Here blog. When you get a minute, you might want to check out my photography blog at
I’ve been lazy the last two or three months, but there’s still a lot of nice photographs there, a good deal of them for the WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge.

We have something in common: 1947.

  28. May 8th I hit 60.. with my younger lifestyle I was restless at 50. I did it all…(I’m a dreamer as well. Better than a liar I suppose.) What I mean to say is I was a party animal and you can guess what that means. Should have said “I tried them all. But as the stream flows under the bridge all and all I really had a miserable teens life. No real father figure to help, but I made it and I am grateful for the life I led up to now and you bring sunshine and I feel now that 67 will be a Snap! So I thank you for sharing. Now when I look in the mirror I leave my glasses somewhere else and just like photoshop I’m 15 years younger. Just read what the person above me had to and remember my quote,”Create a good day in spite of yourself!!!”.. my avatar’s name should put me in the right time zone..

  29. I love looking at pictures of me 5 years ago and remembering how I thought then I was old/fat, whatever and now marveling at how great I looked! It’s all a matter of perspective.

  30. Happy belated birthday oneanna67. Next month I will be 76′ the years go by. Thank you for reading my blog, appreciate it. Rght now I m very unwell, not with usual stuff but summer chest infection that both my daughter, my nephew, his partner and now me. I feel older ever day, ha!

  31. Hi, oneanna, a belated happy birthday and congratulations on this post and all the others you’ve done!

And thanks a lot for stopping by Self-help Health and taking the time to like a number of my posts. I hope you found the information you read useful. I love that there are so many free alternative health related resources available these days and so many simple, inexpensive things we can do to improve our overall health and well-being. And I really enjoy sharing what I come across with others, to save them the time and effort of having to research everything themselves. So I’m always happy when someone benefits from what I post.

  32. A very belated Happy Birthday! Thank you for stopping by my blog. Just to give you even more encouragement (not that you need it!), I’m 77, still travelling the world and having adventures. I hope you enjoy the rest of my Africa photos as I post them. There’s one coming up that may interest you: it documents my bungee jump at Victoria Falls. You don’t get wiser as you grow older – you just have more fun.

  33. Hi Anna, thanks for visiting my blog. I had a look at your blog and I think I like what I see. You are a great lady with attitude. It is too late to wish you a happy birthday, but it is always the right time to say “Hello” and wish you all the best. Keep it up ! I will bookmark your blog and visit from time to time.

  34. that was a joyful post, i enjoyed it, i’m sitting here sick, more than a decade younger, but feeling older, wishing i could grab on to blogging as a destinity… anything as a destinity….i was just praying about it last night.
