My Book-Quest.

Thank you, but NO.
Disability is not for me.
I’m just very different. I don’t do what most of the people are doing, because I’m ONEanna65. šŸ™‚ .

I will go for SS Benefits when I’m 70 years old. If I live that long…
But not SS Disability. Case closed.

So, anyway, I have decided to go with GoFoundMe.
My Friend have made the page for me.
I don’t know how this works, or if is going to work, but I want to try.
You see, this way I’m not DISABLE, but struggling desperate writer and poet…

And if this don’t work, I’m going to find some other way to DO IT.
Even as a young child in the Old Country I found the ways to stay alive ( it is all in my book ) – and this is America and I’m a big girl now, so I know, I’m going to be okay. šŸ™‚ .

You see, if I will know English little better, I could learn more about computers and my Paperback Book will be ready long time ago.
But I have to pay someone and wait for help…
All what I know is how to keep writing and blogging. Well, nobody knows everything… šŸ™‚ .
And because of my “health scare” I don’t know how much time I have…
And I have to finish this publishing, no matter what!

You see, I always take the “road less traveled”
The road where you can enjoy the scenery, but you just have to keep going.
I don’t go where everybody else is going. It is to crowded… šŸ™‚ .

Thank you all for caring.

God Bless you all.

  1. Dear Anna, as I have learned from your fantastic book, you are a “child” of two worlds: of the Old World, Europe and the New World, America. Conversations with one of my colleagues who emigrated from Hungary to US in the 60ies taught me that one of the differences between the two Worlds is that US is more focused on the freedom and responsibility of the individuals, while Europe is stronger in social thinking and institutions for people who are ill or poor. I think you could benefit from the fact that you belong to both worlds to some extent. Thus, while you learned how to take care of yourself, how to be free, and you are ABLE to struggle not only to make ends meet but also to achieve your goals (WRITING!), you should also be ABLE to ask for and receive help. Why not? I think US would be even a better place if solidarity with each other would be stronger, and medical and social care would be easier available for people in need. Please, try to unify the virtues of the two worlds! I think you need only temporary help, and above all, a relaxed and secure atmosphere for your work on your book. You should continue writing, I’d like to learn much more about your youth and your life in the US, too.

  2. You are such an inspiration! I love your tenacity and determination. I take your words with me and draw strength from them when everything looks so bleak. Thank you for sharing from the heart. Know that your words feed me. Judith
