On June 3rd I posted short page about POWERFULL MUSHROOMS – a remedy – MUSHROOM OPTIMIZER. I was trying to fix my malfunctioning Immune System. So I try. After few days of taking the capsules I got severe allergic reaction. My face was all red and burning and my joints were hurting more than before. So I stop taking it. Few days later I was okay.
Ah, well, such is Life. We are all different. What is good for one, can harm the other.
So: NO MORE MUSHROOMS FOR ME.
So I got TURMERIC in capsules.
TURMERIC I have tried before and I was OKAY… π .
They say that TURMERIC is one of the most effective supplements.
– Acts as ANTIOXIDANT.
– Improves BRAIN FUNCTION.
– Good for the HEART.
– Prevents (and even treats) CANCER.
– Prevents ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE.
– Fait INFLAMMATION.
– Helps with ARTHRITIS.
– Treats DEPRESSION.
– Helps delay AGEING.
So now my Heart is going to function better, my Cancer DEAD (if any), I will have less pain in my Joints, I’m going to be Happier than I was before and I’m going to be Young for as long as I live……………. π !!!!!
Thank you for reading
β€ .
God Bless you all.

Hope the turmeric works. I have been able to get it fresh in a Korean grocery but I understand that taking it in a capsule type form may make it more bio-available. It seems to be helping me.
I have never heard of this. I will check it out!
Yes! Turmeric in and on everything! Salad, meat, pasta. Every day! π
I love my tumeric! π
Turmeric, garlic and ginger in capsule form can act as blood thinners which isn’t disclosed on the label. Do not take if you are on an aspirin regiment.
May God continues to strengthen you and grant you total healing. Be Blessed because you are, Mtetar
Sorry to hear the mushrooms didn’t help you any, or you couldn’t tolerate them. They helped my Aunt Pat for quite a while. Been thinking of taking up turmeric myself! Hope your system likes it. — YUR
I had a similar experience when I tried the greens+ product (detox) a few years ago and almost bought the farm with that one! it just shows that remedies don’t always work for everyone!
I’m also taking turmeric (in capsule form) for inflammation, but I have only been on it one week. It will be interesting to see if it makes a difference. I do think that my hip joint is a little less stiff.
Glad to hear you are feeling better. FYI, the active ingredient in turmeric is curcumin, and I would recommend finding this in capsule form. The concentration in turmeric is only about 2% so taking curcumin itself would be a lot more powerful. I take 1 curcumin capsule daily and also use turmeric in cooking as much as possible. I hope you continue on your path to health and happiness.
Oh I’m sorry, mushrooms are funny that way. My mum has an allergy to them too. I can’t have it too often but I do take a curcumin capsule that Chris has mentioned. I also cook with turmeric but a good 500mg capsule really does the trick. I’m happy to hear you’re feeling better.
Glad you’ve found Turmeric to be helpful! Best wishes π
Cool, thank you for sharing this!
How about mushrooms in natural form? I also take natural turmeric by cooking it with my rice. And naturopaths recommend them
If onlyβ¦β¦. π Wonderful last paragraph! Thanks for the Like on my blog!
I’m a walking testimony for turmeric. Last year I could hardly walk, the knee pain horrible, even taking prescription nsaids. After 3 months not only could I walk, the pain was gone and I reduced the nsaids by half.
I didn’t realize it did all that other stuff too…I feel healthier already. I wish I could get my cancer ridden friends to try it, or anything natural but they wont even try. Very sad.
It looks like Tumeric is the way to go or curcumin thank you all for sharing and I wish you all good health π
Off to the store I go! Thanks for this beautiful post! And Thanks for visiting my blog and for follow..
Wow I really do hope you get better, I saw that you liked my recent short story about a man who’s wife was dying of cancer, and due to your username I checked out your blog. I have followed, and hope you the best in regards to your condition. Keep Blogging π
Nice to hear you are in good spirits, I hope the turmeric works. I used to add it to dishes simply because I like the colour it infuses to my staid cooking so now I have another reason to keep adding it to our dinners.
hello oneanna65 its dennis the vizsla dog hay sorry to heer the mushrooms did not wurk owt my brother tucker yoozed to git powderd mushrooms in a kapsool!!! and my sister trixie got turmeric for her arthritis for a wile altho now she goes to the kiropraktor wunse a week and that seems to do it for her!!! i hope the turmeric wurks for yoo!!! ok bye
Thanks for the post. I am looking at something more natural to help with increasing athritis. I will give turmeric a try.
I think turmeric is awesome!
Thanks for the information. I knew many of the benefits of Turmeric, but I never seem to get enough in my diet. I didn’t think of capsules! I’ll have to share with my mother too! (Her father passed with Altzheimers.)
Thank you for liking my post. I like your outlook on life – keep being positive!
I love your positive affirmations! Tumeric sounds like like it will work wonders. Maybe that’s why I like Indian food. Just thinking about it makes me feel better.
Hello! Wow! Turmeric sounds like the universal panacea of life! My husband swears by it. π
Hi Anna…Have you tried Cucumber Juice with lemon.. do look it up online, ie if you haven’t already.Good Luck. Turmeric should be used in Moderation, it’s a strong ingredient. Just my two pence.
To be resolved to feel better is the key. This week one of my old friends died after a long slow decline. A young friend miscarried of a much -longed -for child. I went out of town overnight, my husband failed to coax our cat inside, and coyotes carried off her off leaving only a pile of fur on my neighbor’s lawn to be raked up. I don’t think turmeric will help these pains, but for me writing does help – as does a vigorous walk up a steep hill, as do the kind remarks of strangers.
One other thing you can do with turmeric is you can whiten your teeth, so when you smile because you’re feeling better, you’ll have whiter teeth π
Amen to being young as long as you live. YOLO! (You only have one life) Go for the goal in Jesus name!
And yes turmeric is good…drink lots of water.
Bless you in your bravery, having the state of mind which allows for seeking remedies for such a cruel fickle disease. As a caregiver I find myself wanting, failing, useless – because I cannot cure my sister. These are her last weeks, maybe months, all in a storm of pain and frustration. For you however, I wish only the continued strength and courage, yes and your sense of humor too, which is so necessary when all around is dark and bleak. God be with you.
I nominate you for the Dragon’s Loyalty Award! Thank you for continuous contribution to this online community. Check out my page for more details π
Interesting about the curcumin. My daughter has been taking turmeric for two months, to try to help her ME/CFS pains, but it doesn’t seem to be making much of a difference. We’ll give it another month and then maybe try the curcumin. Take care!
I wish you a clean bill of health
Nice to read this.
Hi Anna,
I read your post about mushrooms, and now I see this!
Glad you found the issue and removed them from your diet.
β€ to you,
Ka
Sorry to hear about the mushrooms. I eat them quite a lot, and would miss the flavour. The Turmeric sounds good. I mostly have that in Indian food, so a couple of times a month.
Best wishes from England. Pete.
I’ve never been a big fan of mushrooms. How about exercise? That can cure many ills.
I pray every day you are healed! Hang on and never give up, I am honored to be your blogging buddy. I continue to suffer from pain from the semi truck accident but I am much better. GOD is amazing never give up. Hugs! Melody
You’ve changed your layout. Nice!
Thanks for stopping by my site and “liking” my post, Inspiration. One thing I have found with mushrooms of any kind – reactions can be had when combined either with another kind of mushroom or alcohol. Just saying, it could be because you react to that remedy or it was combined with something that worked in conjuction with it to create the reaction. I don’t blame you for stopping, though. I would have too.
Tumeric is great!! Helps me with inflamatory pain.
So sorry about your illness. You sound like a strong person. Blessings, blessings, blessings!!!

Oh dear, why is everyone talking about capsules? Still looking for the magic pill? We have a varied diet and try to have mushrooms at least once a week and as for turmeric which we buy from an Indian store in raw powder form, we add it to just about everything as it is so good for us. And I mean everything: in the stock to poach fish, in omelettes with parsley and garlic, another goodie for you, in stews and as the part of the marinade or coating to fry meat. As much as possible we try to buy the real thing! Happy eating and good health Anna. Love, David
Hi oneanna65 Thank you for liking my poem Realistic! Peace and Good Wishes. The Foureyed Poet.
I’m opposite I can’t tolerate Tumric. It caused me to make way to much bile. Ginger is a wonderful option. That’s part of what I take. Willow bark tea is good for my pain. I use other natural remedies trying to find the best one for my pain.
