Going silver, maybe blue.

Here I’m again with more health problems.
On the top of my usual issues I have to deal with nasty infection on my right hand. It started small, but in a few days it become a problem.
I try the usual remedies, but it was getting worse every day.

So of course I went on Google, did some research and found Ultra Colloidal Silver from Source Natural.

They say, that this is all-purpose healing remedy.
It cures bacterial infections better than antibiotics.

But they also say that if taken internally over time Colloidal Silver can build up in your body and give your skin bluish, greyish colour
They call it ARGYRIA.
And isn’t riversible.
So if you overdose, you are going to be blue forever…

Well, this is something to think about…
But I’m brave. I take risk every day… πŸ™‚ …

According to “suggested use” I should take 2 teaspoons a day for no more than 10 days.
But because blue is not my favorite colour πŸ™‚ I was taking only one teaspoon a day for 5 days only… just to be on the save side…
And I’m applying few drops of the liquid on the infected area few times a day, covering with band aid.
And is healing!
Two more days and I can have my two hands back!
No more bandages and rubber gloves!

I’m glad I was able to find again the right remedy for my problem.
And I’m glad that I find out about this ARGYRIA thing… πŸ™‚
Remember, always check “side effects” and “overdose”, before you use any remedy…

Thank you for visiting.
God bless

  1. It’s wonderful that you have discovered the benefits of Colloidal Silver. I actually make my own.

It’s sad that people (even the company that makes the brand you currently use) bring up the “Papa Smurf” (Colloidal Silver) story. Paul Karason didn’t use traditional CS and what he did use, he really over did it.
Lots can be said about the positive benefits of CS but all the negative stories are rooted with this crappy one.

At the end of the day, it’s always best to research research research, follow up on all side effects, AND never ever overdose. ~ymwv

  2. My dad swears by colloidal silver. He makes his own. Don’t ask me how he does it. He has some sort of kitchen appliance. Glad yours is healing up !

  3. Praying for your healing, Anna. Problems with the hands are scary!

We have used raw honey to topically treat infections and wounds. Never needed this really for the first three kids, all girls. But when our son came along, he turned getting hurt into a regular routine. His first few years, we learned more about natural healing than we ever needed with any of our daughters, and most of it had to do with broken or burned skin and healing it with raw honey. At the time, we lived fairly close to a honey farm and bought as much as we could every month. Not all honey is raw, and some honey has been laced with corn syrup to increase profits. If you can find make friends with a bee keeper and start buying honey directly from them, please do so. I think you may be glad of it.

Anyway, I’m glad you found the colloidal silver and that it has been helping. When I first read the article, I thought it might have to do with old ladies and the blue tinge they get in their hair when trying to whiten it up in later years. Yours was a much more interesting article than the one I had been expecting based on the title alone.

  4. I’m praying for your health and for your hand to heal quickly with this silver…. If you happen to be a bit bluish in pigment, I trust you can accessorize that look!

  5. I am glad that your hands are healing. It is good that you see hope by …for example, searching for an alternative treatment for your hands. You are very courageous to have good self care! Keep it up.

  6. I’ve never taken this internally, but have used the eye drops to quickly cure eye issues & the gel is better than neosporan (sp?) for topical use.

  7. So glad your hands are healing & you found the silver. One thing I often apply to skin infection is a bentonite clay paste such as the green face clay ladies use on their faces. If you have Australian Tea Tree Oil that is good to put on before the face clay. I believe I cured a spider bite this way, just a couple of months ago. Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque brand is good. I have read wonderful things about honey, too. If you are curious, do a search for bentonite healing clay. Kind regards! Praying you continue to heal.

  8. You continually amaze me with your fortitude and good sense. Side effects can kill you. It’s good you’re being so careful…. I’m so glad you found the right remedy. Congrats!
