When Life Gives You Lemons

SHARP MINDS PSYCHOLOGY

I don’t know about you but I’ve had a lot of shitty things happen in 2020. My father died and my bird died, a few days apart. No, they also weren’t COVID related.

But what happens when you’ve reached rock bottom? There’s nowhere to go but up, right?

Take the time you need to heal and feel your feelings. It’s okay to go slower, the whole world has slowed down and rightful needed to. This time is for personal growth and healing. Pour salt in your wounds and rise up by being a better person.

Focus on you. Everything else will fall into place, trust me it’s happened to me a lot. Surrender to what you can’t change, make peace with what’s happened and plan for a better future- for yourself.

Make a plan on how to turn your pain into power and become better than who you were yesterday…

  1. I’m sorry those things happened to you, but your perspective is awesome! Having also hit rock bottom, I know how hard it is to pick yourself back up. Positive thinking and planning is always the way to go!

  2. My condolences on your losses and lemons delivered – – I, too, am in state of healing – I’ve now reached the stage where I’m healed enough to be restless/impatient/want to go forward, but not quite well enough to tackle the next phase as I wish – thus – I’m in ‘holding pattern’ for now – Sigh – no matter how many times I walk through this ‘path’, it never fails to amaze me I still ‘walk it’ with the same pattern of change – – but perhaps, I’m learning to not go out and ‘buck bales of hay/straw before broken ribs are mended fully’ – LOL – – live and learn I guess – right? But thanks for your share – – reminded me once again to ‘have patience’ – 😀
